Today, the reception children in class 8 visited The Sheffield Grand Mosque in Grimesthorpe as part of their topic 'What do children in Brightside celebrate?' They found different features of a mosque such as the tower and dome and learnt about the celebration Eid. They also made Eid cards using different materials such as glitter and foam stickers. They finished their visit with a delicious snack before heading back to school on the bus. The children all said how much they had enjoyed their visit!
