Brightside celebrated 'Science Week' by carrying out experiments based around the story 'The Egg Drop' by Mini Grey. The children enjoyed finding different ways to keep the egg safe. These included: creating parachutes, body armour, crash mats, as well as trying to change the state of the egg and make it 'bouncy'. 

The children also had a great time completing science work at home with their families too. Thank you to everyone who participated in our family challenge. We had some amazing entries! The school council judge these on Friday and picked a winner and runner up from each class. The results will be shared this Monday during assembly.
