The pupils at Brightside School learnt how to keep their teeth healthy.
On Monday 23rd October, the pupils at Brightside School learnt all about keeping their teeth healthy. The year 2 pupils investigated the effects of different soft drinks on teeth. The pupils found out that the shell of an egg is similar to the enamel on their teeth. They chose a soft drink and placed an egg into it. They then checked on the egg every day. The pupils could clearly see the effects that sugar had on the egg shell. Pupils then discussed the importance of brushing their teeth twice a day and limiting sugary drinks.
