Sheffield City Council Survey

20 May 2020 (by brightside)

Childcare Survey 2020

On 10th May the Prime Minister announced plans to encourage some people to return to the workplace (if home working is not possible), and launched proposals with the intention that early years and primary school education reopen to eligible groups from 1st June.

Sheffield City Council is seeking your feedback on how you think recent events have affected your childcare needs for the coming months, and what childcare you would be seeking.

We know these are stressful times but would appreciate if you could complete this 10-15 minute survey. This will help us to prepare as we consult childcare providers regarding their capacity to deliver the services that you require, and plan for sufficient childcare in the future.

We also appreciate that your employment circumstances and childcare needs may be uncertain at this time. However, it would be helpful if you could respond based on your best judgement of your circumstances at 1st June onwards.

Some questions refer to 'your youngest child'. This is because, in most families, the youngest child will have the greater childcare needs. If you feel it is more appropriate to answer based on another child, please do so.

Our email address will be provided at the end of the survey if you feel there is anything we haven't covered.

Thank you for your time
