Yesterday was World Mental Health Day. The KS1 children at Brightside had a special World Mental Health assembly today with Mrs Mercer and Mr Smith. They were encouraged to talk about how they were feeling and who they can go to if they are feeling worried or upset about anything. The children were also introduced to our Healthy Minds Champions in school who are children who have been voted onto this by their class. The Healthy Minds Champions will help the staff to create a safe and happy environment for all children at Brightside. They will meet regularly with Mr Smith.
