What liquids will help us to grow cress?

The year 2 children have had an exciting time in science as they investigated what happened when they tried to grow cress seeds with different liquids. The children tried different liquids such as cola, lemonade, tea, tomato sauce and apple juice. They found out that some liquids made the cress seeds grow and thought that this must be because they had water in them.
