What is living in the school garden?
Today, year 2 enjoyed investigating habitats in science. They predicted what wildlife they would find around school. They thought they might find birds such as sparrows in the trees and insects on the ground.
The children then went outside and explored the school garden and playground. They managed to find snails, worms, ants and even saw pigeons flying overhead.
Tomorrow we will be finding out why animals are suited to living in the garden. The children will be thinking what food is available for wildlife to eat in there.
