Class 5 spent this afternoon learning how to measure temperature. They used thermometers to take the temperature of different potions in the classroom. They found out that the 'chocolate potion' was freezing cold as it was 0 degrees. The 'purple potion' was hotter as it was 45 degrees.
The children then used the thermometers to measure the temperature in different areas on the playground. They found out that the shaded areas were cool and the areas in the sunshine were warmer.
Well done class 5 for working hard.
